"Opening of Aliança Underground Museum"
Opened on the 24th of April, the Aliança Underground Museum has on available on display seven collections owned privately by Joe Berardo for the public to enjoy. This adds to the already existing Berardo Museum Collection (CCB), Sintra Museum of Modern Art and the Monte Palace Museum (Madeira). This new project from the Berardo Collection is exhibited at Aliança Vinhos de Portugal, Sangalhos, Anadia. The ceremony was attended by Jose Berardo, with Secretary of State for Fisheries and Agriculture, Luis Vieira, and with members of the Board of Aliança Vinhos de Portugal SA, among other guests. The space has on show the following collections: Archaeological Collection, African Ethnographic Art, Contemporary Sculpture from Zimbabwe, Minerals, Fossils, Tiles and Fine Ceramics from Caldas da Rainha.
