In much of her work, Horn explores the physical limits of the human body, which she often extends by using fantastic theatrical props, such as mask of feathers, or gloves with yard-long fingers, or winglike devices operated by the performer. 1986 Won the Arnold Bode Award in Kassel 1994/95 Retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in New York and Gropius Bau in Berlin. Horn’s videos and performances are choreographic rituals revolving around extensions of the body and the mythical identification of man with nature.
