The British artist, Chantal Joffe studied at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts between 1987 and 1988. In 1991, she received a scholarship from the John Kinross Memorial and the Net West 90's Prize for Art. Between 1988 and 1991, she studied at the Glasgow School of Art and, in 1993, she won a prize given by the Royal College of Art, where she studied between 1992 and 1994. In 1999, she held exhibitions at the Il Capricorno Gallery, Venice, the Marabini Gallery, Bologne and the Feigen Contemporary in New York. Between 1991 and 1999, she also participated in several collective exhibitions in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, New York, Liverpool, Manchester, Italy and Sweden. She lives and works in London.
