Australian artist, Tracy Moffatt studied Visual Communication at the Queensland College of Art in her home town, Brisbane. She started holding one-woman shows in 1989, first in Sydney, at the Australian Centre for Photography, and then in Glasgow at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (1992), in Melbourne at the Katyn Lovegrove Gallery (1994), in Frankfurt at the L. A. Gallery (1997) and in Berlin at the Andrea Weiss Gallery (1997). She also participated in numerous collective exhibitions, at the Venice Biennale (1997), at the São Paulo Biennale and at the Sydney Biennale (1996). Currently she lives and works in Sydney.
