Israeli sculptor who, in 1962, adopted American nationality. Between 1962 and 1968 he studied at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and, between 1971 and 1973, at Yale University in New York, where he had held his first one-man show at the Panoras Gallery in 1969. In 1988, he exhibited at the Bordeaux Musée d'Art Contemporain. He also took part in the collective exhibition, Schlaf der Vernunft (The Sleep of Reason) in Kassel (1989) and in the exhibition, Metropolis in Berlin (1991). In 1992, he took part in documenta 9 in Kassel. This artist has used various types objects to create surprising compositions on stands, as well as a kind of staging in which objects are actors that some consider sarcastic.
