Photographer and photo-journalist of Portuguese nationality, born in Tangier, Morocco, and since 1975 living in the USA. 1975-76. Photographer "in residence" American Film Institute, New York and at the Film Department of the George Eastman House, Rochester, New York. His work has been published in numerous international magazines. He has had several books published and regularly exhibits his work in indivual and collective exhibitions in Europe, The States and Brazil. In 1995 he co-directed a short 16 mm documentary film, Lisbon-USA, about small cities in the United States called Lisbon.
