Biography
An Italian artist who, despite being trained in sculpture, produced paintings between 1959 and 1964. In 1965, he was connected to Conceptual Art and, in 1969, he became involved with the emerging Arte Povera movement, becoming one of its main exponents. He took part in documenta 5 and 7 and received an international prize at the 1990 Venice Biennale.
