After graduating from the Painting Course of ESBAL, she moved to Paris. In 1993 she was invited by the Goldsmith College (London) as Academic Observer, where she developed the project of the that would integrate the programming of the Convento da Arrábida. A residency in Macau and China, supported with a grant by Fundação Oriente, also took her to Vietnam. She taught drawing at Ar.Co (1991 - 2003). Presently she is a teacher of Art History at Universidade Lusófona. She completed the MbA in Visual Arts and Intermedia of the Universidade de Évora (2007). Solo exhibitions at Galeria Módulo, Lisbon, since 1989. In 1994 she was awarded the União Latina Prize. Uso do Olho #1 Uso do Olho#2 (arco-íris) (2005) and the events ,mise à nu par le soleil or mise à nu par la lune (2006/08) configure, in themselves, a universe of visual and personal research that also developed out of her involvement with dance projects (in collaboration with João Fiadeiro, Franz Polestra, Howard Sonenklar, “Skit”- international choreography project -, in between others), cinema (Michael Shamberg, Jim Herbert, Cris Marker) and architecture (together with the architecture studio Baixa - Pavilhão do Futuro, Expo-Switzerland in between others), and landscape design (in collaboration with the landscaping studio Global).
