Biography
Born in Lisbon, lives and works in Malmö, Sweden. Studied drawing and painting at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes (2006). In 2006, attended the Independent Study Program at Maumaus – Escola de Artes Visuais. Since 2009, he is doing Masters in Fine Arts at Malmö Art Academy, Sweden. Part of his interests are centered in the crossing of natural science, with visual arts and with his own experience and activity as a pharmacist. His practices can be situated somewhere between Instituto de Investigação Científica Tropical, 2009 "Cité radieuse", Galeria Alta de Lisboa, 2008/09; " “Tudo menos a palavra?…”, Instituto Camões, 2007/2008. Artistic residency: Instituto de Investigação Científica Tropical, September 2008 to January 2009.
