Biography
Was born in Guimarães, lives in Lisbon. Graduated in Engineering at the Military Academy. Attended engraving courses and painting in Portugal and abroad. He lived seven years in Angola where he participated in exhibitions and studied etnography and African art. He attended an holography course at the Royal Smith College, London University. He developed and investigated engraving and printing techniques and also the chemistry of the paper. The preparation of the paper at home led him to deepen the process of mixing pigments. Later the knowledge of these materials allowed him to realize his works in space. Thus evolved his sculptures using hard board and painted double face.
