Biography
Born in Leeds and studied at Goldsmith College in London. His first one-man show took place at the Cohen Gallery in 1993, in New York. In 1994, he exhibited at the White Cube Gallery, London; in 1995 at the Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, New York and, in 1996, at the Vedovi Fine Art Gallery in Brussels. He has taken part in diverse collective exhibitions in London, Some Went Mad, Some Ran Away (Serpentine Gallery, 1994), Young British Artists III (Saatchi Gallery, 1995) and Sensation (Royal Academy of Arts, 1997). His work has also been exhibited in other galleries and museums, particularly in Germany, the United States and Switzerland.
