Biography
Brazilian painter and scenographer born and lives in Rio de Janeiro. Milhazes paintings deal with traditional cultural decoration, baroque style and popular art. Her latest works, besides the floral symbols and forms, traditional in her iconography since the 80s, exist new elements like geometrical lines. 1986-98 Scenography; Companhia Marcia Milhazes Dança Contemporânea.
