Biography
British Conceptual Artist and photographer, Fulton studied Sculpture at St Martin's School of Art between 1966 and 1968 and at the Royal College of Art between 1968 and 1969. During his long walks, Fulton registers his sensory and emotional experiences of the landscape through black and white photography. He then greatly enlarges one or a series of these photographs which he arranges in terms of tonality. Whilst his work has normally been linked to Conceptual and Land Art, Fulton sees himself as heir to the British traditions of landscape painting.
