Biography
Italian artist born in Veneto (Rovigo). In 1952 moves to Brussels and studies at the Accademie Royale des Beaux Arts and in 1956 graduated Architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Cambre. Returns to Milan where he founds with Manzoni Azimuth, a magazine and a Gallery with the same name. The same year, he participates in "Zero" and "Nul" groups. The early death of Piero Manzoni determines the beginning of a solitary life. In 1964 he received the “Guggenheim International Exhibition Award”, at the Guggenheim Museum, New York. In 1966 is awarded “Gollin” at the Biennale di Venezia. 1968 Participated at “Documenta 4”, Kassel. 1974 Galleria la Tartaruga, Rome, 1981 Identité italienne, l’art en Italie depuis 1959, Centre Pompidou, Paris, 1988 Galerie Di-Meo, Paris, Kodama Gallery, Osaka, 1994 Museo Laboratorio, Rome. Lives in Celleno (Viterbo).
