Describes himself as an artist that has seen and worked in everything. His installations contrast popular culture with history of art to create critical works with provocative aesthetic and political questions. Alexandre Perigot is also interested in relationships with the show business, the stream circulation gall kinds stars and in environmental issues through his art; he is the kind of artist who evaluates the paradoxical positions of art in society, creative installations that lick all disciplines. The installation belonging to Collection Berardo under the title sometimes you win sometimes you lose consists of double jointed tubes and plastic, which tries to recreate a phrase within the exhibit space. As a power station of aspiration, the structure contains an object which is propelled inside the tubular circuit: the friction produces a jerked noise. The sound invites the spectator to mentally or physically decipher sentence layout. The concept is a playful way for Alexandre Perigot to put forward a serious questioning by means of participation and entertainment.
