Biography
British painter. Worked for many years in advertising before taking up painting. Lived near Mediterranean for long periods. 1964: Exhibition of acquisitions for Inde Coop Collection, Marlborough Gallery, London, 1965 Represented at John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool. 1966 Showed environmental works in group exhibition, Signals Gallery, London, 1967 First one-person exhibition, Greenwich Theatre Art Gallery, London, Camden Arts Centre, London, Lisson Gallery (where he has since exhibited regularly), London, Four English Artists, Geselsenkirchen, Germany. In 1971 started to paint utilising concept of border and center. Exhibited in 1997 at Galerie Gillespie/Laage, Paris, 1979 Konrad Fischer, Düsseldorf, 1987 and 1988 Kent Fine Art Inc., New York. Lives in London.
