Hungarian artist. She produced her first work in 1919 and, in 1920, entered the Budapest School of Fine Arts. In 1926, two of her works were accidentally included in the exhibition The Important Contemporary Masters at the Museum of Fine Art, Budapest. In 1927, Prinner established herself in France and, in 1930, exhibited at the Pierre Gallery. In 1932, she began her Constructivist period and, in 1935, attended Atelier 17, where she learnt engraving technique. In 1936, she took part in the Salon des Surindépendants, in Paris and, in the following year, produced her first figurative sculptures. In 1942, she had one-man shows at the Pierre and Drouin Galleries, both in Paris. In 1950, she moved to Vallauris, where she continued her work in sculpture, ceramics and wood. In 1964 she returned to Paris and, in 1965, exhibited her Constructivist work at the Yvon Lambert Gallery. Between 1968 and 1976, she took part in various exhibitions and, in the latter year, she presented her book Le Tarot selon Prinner at the Pot d'Etain bookshop, in Paris.
